01 / About
Songs, sound
and picture.
I write, produce and mix music for artists and for picture. Across both, I’m interested in making musical choices that strengthen the idea, sharpen the emotion and help the work communicate.
02 / Biography
A little about me.
I’m a songwriter, composer, producer and mixer based in North Hertfordshire. I work primarily across pop, rock, indie and electronic music, both with artists and with music for picture.
I was the bassist and chief songwriter in the Greek indie band Matisse. We signed to Sony Music Greece and released four albums on the label. Making records from the artist’s side gave me an understanding of how personal a song can be—and how important it is for production and mixing decisions to support what the artist is trying to express.
My other professional life is in User Experience research and Human-Centred Design. That work has taught me to listen carefully, question assumptions and understand what genuinely matters before deciding how to respond. The same mindset informs my musical work, without turning creativity into a formula.
Alongside my artist-focused work, I completed a commercial music course during which I scored ten advertisements. That training developed another side of my practice: composing to picture, where music must respond precisely to narrative, pace and emotion.
These are not separate careers or a progression from one kind of music to another. They are different expressions of the same foundations: songwriting, listening, emotional clarity and close attention to what the work needs.
